Dad, now that I am in Heaven,
I know it makes you sad
But think of all those loving times
of love and hugs we've had
I know that our days together
were far too short and few
But I know that you love me
and that I'll always love you too.
Hold onto our memories Dad,
They're special ones to keep
I'll be with you throughout your days
And with you when you sleep
Keep our lovely cuddles Dad
and my smiles within your heart
I'll hold your hand and walk with you,
so we never are apart.
So I love you Dad, this isn't fair
and all of this is wrong
but I'll stay close by, to catch your tears
and help you to be strong.
